Hello, I'm Samata


I am a presence teacher and a writer.


With more than fifteen years of experience in the transformative power of awareness practices I teach the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course and offer movement and meditation sessions. I have trained extensively in yoga, tai chi, martial arts, vipassana meditation and mindfulness based approaches and am passionate about helping people discover their own innate capacity for vitality and healing.


I am also a writer with a passion for telling stories that shape our world in a new light. I have worked in PR and journalism since 2007 and bring my understanding of healing modalities to articles that I write and clients that I work with.

I find the balance of presence with group work and creativity through writing brings me a lot of joy. I could not have mindfulness teaching without writing and I could not have writing without presence. When picking a profession, I couldn’t choose, so I do both.
